**Assistant Project Manager Job Description**

Arkuda Restoration and Cleaning Solutions is seeking an organized and proactive Assistant Project Manager to join our team. This role is designed to support our Project Management team in executing a growing range of restoration projects, ensuring efficiency and the highest standards of service. As an integral part of our team, you will work closely with our Project Managers, gaining invaluable experience and knowledge with the potential to take on increased project management responsibilities or become mentored into career advancement opportunities.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- **Administrative Excellence**: Oversee office administrative tasks including customer communications, job scheduling, and data management. Ensure accurate processing and documentation of job invoicing and reports.
- **Project Support**: Assist in managing and tracking projects, coordinating with the Production Team, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Perform basic accounting duties related to job costing and time sheets.
- **Communication and Coordination**: Maintain efficient internal communication with the Project Management team and other stakeholders. Handle customer inquiries, providing exceptional service and directing queries to appropriate team members.
- **Documentation and Compliance**: Manage job file documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Support in auditing project files to assess profit/loss outcomes and prepare for final invoicing.

**A Typical Day**

Your day starts with catching up on the previous day's administrative duties. Afterwards, you pivot to handling new restoration or cleaning requests, assigning them to Project Managers for assessment and cost analysis. Throughout the day, you produce and organize critical documents, reports, and estimates, issuing purchase orders essential for project progression. As the day closes, your focus returns to ensuring all documentation is precise and orderly, laying the groundwork for tomorrow’s success.

**Skills and Experience**
- High School diploma is necessary; additional post-secondary education is an asset.
- Experience in an administrative role.
- Experience in the restoration industry would be preferred.
- Must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license and be bondable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; familiarity with Xactimate is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of drafting correspondence accurately and in a timely manner.
- Independent worker, able to complete tasks without constant supervision.
- Committed and dedicated, showcasing an outstanding work ethic.

**Salary**: $35,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
