**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced and driven Field Service Electrical Technician to join our exceptional services team, based in Vancouver.

The Field Service Electrician will be responsible for performing servicing, testing, and maintenance on various types of power transmission and distribution equipment, as well as conducting thermal imaging inspections to identify potential issues in electrical systems.

**Your experience and skills**:

- A certified Red Seal Electrical Journeyperson for at least 5 years
- Proficient in using thermal imaging cameras and able to interpret thermal data effectively
- FSR-A (Field Safety Representative-A) with significant high voltage experience is considered a strong skills asset
- Prefer experience with most of the following or similar: High voltage and low voltage circuit breakers, Load break switches, protective relay testing, Transformers, Insulating oil testing and analysis, Infrared scanning, performing start-up and commissioning on switchgear from 15kV -69kV class
- Experience performing inspection, maintenance, testing, and repairs to transformers, circuit breakers, load break switches and related distribution equipment
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety
- Good understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code, particularly relating to inspections relating to annual operating permits
- Well organized, team player, strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Skilled at electrical trouble-shooting and problem solving
- Capable of supervising electrical journeyman and apprentices when required
- Able to be a contributing team player in an exciting, fast paced, positive environment
- Willing to work after hours and an on-call basis. Expect nighttime and weekend work regularly
- Able to speak, read and write English fluently and able to maintain legible/accurate paperwork
- Strong computer skills including most essential software platforms
- Must have a valid class 5 drivers license and hold a clean driving record
- Must pay for and pass a criminal investigation / police check prior to employment
- A current IBEW local 213 member or willing to become one

We pay competitive industry wages and offer great benefits, overtime, a Company provided vehicle, and Company cell phone.

Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
