Under the direction and supervision of a Clinical Neuropsychologist and reporting to the Manager, the Psychometrist administers and scores a variety of standardized neuropsychological tests to children and adolescents aged 4-18 years. The Psychometrist will support Neuropsychologists through the administration and scoring of current intellectual, cognitive, and academic tests, as well as behavioural questionnaires. Duties also include participation in team meetings/case consultations, records review, writing up behavioural observations, assistance in report preparation, facilitating time sensitive assessments, and the maintenance of files, test materials, and databases.

Rate of Pay: $29.35 per hour - $36.68 per hour

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

**Qualifications**:

- Successful completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Education, or a related discipline
- Previous recent, related clinical experience with children, preferred
- Proficient skill with Microsoft Office as well as computerized testing and scoring software, CPT-II, WAIS-IV/WMS-IV
- Demonstrated effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Advanced attention to detail and accuracy in recording responses
- Demonstrated knowledge in child development, preferred
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing demands
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC’s Mission, Vision and Values
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis

Immunization Requirements:

- Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis.
- Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step) and COVID vaccine series.
