**As a Business Development Associate, a typical day might include the following**:

- **Generate business through internet sources and coordinating internet promotions**
- **Assists guests in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to the guest's responses**
- **Book sales appointments with our Product Advisors**:

- **Present or complete remote sales transactions if the initial dealership visit is not possible**
- **Introduces guests to dealership operations, including the service and parts departments, to emphasize to guests the quality and efficiency of the dealerships service operations**
- **Maintains and achieves the given target and guest satisfaction objectives set by management**
- **Penetrate all targeted accounts and radiate sales from within client base**:

- **Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms and prepare sales order forms and/or reports**
- **Build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth**:

- **Provide financial information regarding lease and finance rates**:

- **Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new products and services, competitor activities, and other research**
- **Performs other duties as required.**

**Qualification and Requirements**
- **Recommended 1-2 years of direct work experience in a sales, customer service or business development capacity**
- **Demonstrated ability to convert prospects while maintaining established departmental quotas.**
- **Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers**
- **Strong written, verbal and listening communication skills**
- **Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm**
- **Ability to work individually and as part of a team**
- **Possess a valid driver’s license**:

- **Valid OMVIC registration, a plus.**
