MCRI is seeking AFLA (Alternative Family Living arrangement) caregivers/providers who are passionate about making a positive impact on individuals with intellectual disabilities and who welcome them into their home environment with open arms and hearts to provide support and care.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide a nurturing and inclusive home environment for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
- Offer emotional support, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities.
- Foster a safe and caring atmosphere that promotes independence and personal growth.
- Collaborate with supervisor to ensure the well-being and development of individuals.
**Minimum Requirements: -**
- Passion for supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities in your home settings.
- Clear (SD) and criminal record check.
- Ability to create a welcoming and inclusive living space.
- Willingness to attend their medical appointments and recreational activities with them.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Should have Permanent Residency or Canadian citizenship.
