**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Plans and outlines daily workload distribution for drivers to execute completion.
- Co-ordinates the flow of inbound and outbound freight while staying abreast of daily priorities and weekly transportation targets.
- Ensures the timely resolution of customer inquiries, concerns, and problems.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and establish ties with new customers/business for the organization.
- Awareness of Highway traffic act including hours of service, TDG, weight restrictions etc.
- Strong knowledge of applicable routes within region
- Committed to achieving Transportation targets in a timely fashion while focusing on continuous improvement.

Customer Service Skills including effectively and efficiently responding to Client and employee inquiries; resolving any conflicts or problems that might arise; etc

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum of 5-year verifiable experience as a Fleet Dispatcher (Flatbeds)
- Strong, creative problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Extensive Load Link experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage large fleet.
- Ability to successfully negotiate freight rates with best practice.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to resolve issues with drivers, colleagues, etc.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Provide other customer service or after hours support as required.
- Previous experience with Fleet Manager is an asset.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Georgetown, ON L7G 4S7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- dispatching: 5 years (required)
