Freelance/part-time Real Estate Law Clerk

Looking for a freelance real estate law clerk to assist a real estate lawyer. This position would be based on either on a flat fee based on a per file basis or hourly rate. You would be required to work independently. You must have your own computer. Your primarily role will be to manage and complete real estate purchase, sale, mortgages and refinancing transactions from start to finish with mínimal supervision including:
- Familiar with Unity, PC law, Cosmolex and Teraview
- Handle Title and Off-Title Searches.
- Preparing reporting letters
- Maintain filing and storage system.
- Ability to review title abstracts and draft requisition letters.
- Communicating with clients, lenders, real estate agents and other law offices.
My office is located in Norwood and as well as in Toronto. Some residential real estate transactions will include condominium, waterfront properties, farm, rural and residential. Preferred a real estate law clerk with 2+ years experience. Ideally looking to have you attend the Norwood office, but open to a hybrid or remote position as well.
