Are you ready to take on a challenging role that offers leadership opportunities and the chance to drive quality management within a dynamic environment? Van Pile is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Manager to be a vital part of our QA/QC team, working on-site in a fly-in, fly-out position on a 21/7 shift rotation.

**Position Details**:
Anticipated 11-month full-time role in Prince Rupert with 21/7-day rotation on a 10-hour shift. Accommodation and travel expenses will be covered

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead Quality management for assigned projects, providing clear direction to the Quality team and distributing workloads effectively
- Communicate the company's quality control policies, procedures, and guidelines to employees and subcontractors
- Prepare Inspection & Test Plans for project phases
- Collaborate with Client Technical Support group and oversee subcontractor Inspection and Test Plans
- Conduct various inspections to ensure adherence to codes, standards, and specifications
- Verify As-Built Drawings, completion of punch lists, and resolve NDT subcontractor issues
- Provide expertise on Inspection technologies, industry codes, and company standards
- Supervise project Quality Plans, coordinate resources, and build partnerships on-site
- Anticipate challenges, propose innovative solutions, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives
- Create formal networks internally and externally, influence strategic decisions, and communicate effectively at various levels
- Ensure project turnover packages are completed promptly, conduct Quality audits, and liaise with customers and inspectors
- Maintain calibration of measuring and test equipment

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Post-secondary education with a related diploma, degree, or trade certificate
- 10+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Detailed technical knowledge of codes, standards, construction practices, and equipment
- Familiarity with concrete testing, grout testing, reinforcement inspection, and steel structure examination
- Proficiency in MS Office, strong communication skills, and ability to work remotely for extended periods
- NDT CGSB certificate and CWB Welding Inspection Certificate Level II preferred
