**Company Overview**:
We are currently seeking a full-time, permanent **Architecture Drafting Technician** to join our team.

**Main Duties**:
1. Prepare architectural designs and structural drafts by using Sketchup, AutoCAD, and Revit from preliminary concepts, sketches, and other data.

2. Create Building Information Models (BIM) to provide digital representations of physical and functional aspects of projects, emphasizing energy-efficient building envelopes and sustainable design.

3. Develop, modify, and review drawings according to project specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality.

4. Assist in developing customized insulated envelopes for projects based on specific requirements.

6. Engage in and commit to every project, coordinating with teams to ensure efficient installation and construction.

8. Contribute to the development of products that meet or exceed efficiency targets for LEEDS®, Green Globes®, BREEAM®, and others.

9. Prepare technical reports, contracts, and tender documents related to drafting tasks.

10. Cooperate and coordinate with construction teams during the construction process, ensuring drawings and designs are correctly interpreted and applied.

**Requirements**:
1. A minimum of a two-year college program in architecture/engineering drafting or designing or other related field is required.

2. Must have direct work experience in architecture/structural drafting, applicants with more experience will be considered.

3. Proficiency in CAD software like AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp is required.

4. Brief of previous work set will be required if selected for the interview.

5. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different departments are essential.

**Work Details**:
1. Job Position: Architecture Drafting Technician

2. Job Type: This is a full-time, permanent position

3. Work hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week

4. Compensation: $37 CAD per hour.

5. Work Location: 4704 91 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB Canada T6B 2L1

We offer 2 weeks of paid vacation or vacation pay amounting to 4% of wages.
