**Enviro Depot Supervisor**

**Job Summary**

Try Recycling Inc. is hiring an Enviro Depot Supervisor. The Enviro Depot Supervisor will be a leader in the business and will ultimately be accountable for ensuring we exceed customer service standards. They will deliver results through strong people leadership, team building and instilling best practices.

The Enviro Depot Supervisor is responsible in managing the enviro depots operation within the City of London and St. Thomas. The Enviro Depot Supervisor will demonstrate a high level of customer service expertise, people management and organization to oversee the operation and customer service function at all locations. The Enviro Depot Supervisor will report to the Director of People Operations. They are responsible for approximately 20+ employees depending on the season.

**Qualifications**
- High School Diploma or GED
- A minimum of three years of proven experience in a Customer Service Leadership role
- Must enjoy working outdoors, in all weather conditions
- Ability to work in a busy, outdoor and fast paced environment
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision
- Demonstrated understanding of management practices and techniques
- Health & Safety leadership experience is an asset
- Strong continuous improvement experience, coupled with the ability to drive and manage change
- Strong experience with Microsoft Excel is a must for Daily reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the compliance of the ESA, WSIB, Health & Safety legislation and company policies and procedures
- Demonstrated a high level of professionalism, personal integrity, and strong work ethic
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- The Enviro Depot Supervisor must travel to all locations weekly
- Physical ability to lift up to 51lbs
- Confident, consistent, and decisive personality
- Excellent communication written and verbal skills
- Proactive, action oriented and results driven
- Outstanding problem-solving and planning skills
- Resourceful and adapts quickly to changing situations
- Ability to coach team on how to manage conflict
- Demonstrates the courage to challenge the status quo

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist as a Depot Attendant and/or Scale Operator (St. Thomas) when needed
- Provide a high level of customer service and organization within all enviro depots
- Prepares employee schedules and approves shifts for payroll
- Respond to customer service issues in a timely manner
- Complete all necessary paperwork, maintain accurate records and documents
- Knowledgeable of company, depots, products & recycling of products
- Create and implement effective customer service procedures, policies, and standards
- Drive and enable a health and safety culture through behavioural based safety and focused on accident prevention and no safety infractions or injuries.
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of customer service issues.
- Continuously work with the people and operations team to meet customer demands
- Hire, develop talent and guarantee on-the-job training with all employees, ensuring that employees are properly trained in their positions and cross trained where necessary.
- Responsible for leading and developing employees, and fostering a work environment that is safe, productive, inclusive, and engaged.
- Develop and maintain positive work environment by promoting open communication and accountability.
