Plans and controls all aspects of mechanical maintenance in the employer's establishment, including the coordination and management of mechanical maintenance department personnel.

Participate in the realization of improvement projects
- Work to improve Health and Safety and HACCP and BRC standards.
- Controls and monitors the purchasing budget allocated to mechanical maintenance, sanitation and operational supplies, including the process and purchase orders and receipt of ordered parts;
- Schedules, coordinates and manages the staff of its department with the help of the human resources department, including performance evaluations;
- Plans and organizes repairs and maintenance, including the preventive maintenance program;
- Ensures that the equipment is kept in good working order in order to meet production deadlines;
- Ensures that a sufficient stock of parts is maintained to keep the equipment running.
- Participate in the selection of new equipment and their installation.
- Choose the parts to keep the technologies up to date.
- Develop new technology adaptable to the bakery
- Participate in the hiring of new maintenance employees.
- Participate in the choice of contractors and supervise their work.
- Assists the employees under his responsibility when necessary.
- Understand and respect the McDonald's Social Responsibility Program and Code of Conduct;
- Support the bakery platform on different projects or initiatives.
