5+ years of experience in electrical estimating
- In-depth understanding of electrical code and electrical design
- Ability to determine take-offs, conduit and wire sizes, panel and transformers required etc.
- Excellent knowledge of excel, Accubid and Blue Beam
- Proven ability to read drawings and submittals
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and time-management skills
- Clearly articulate design, material and labour to PMs and field
- Prepare post-project costing analysis
- Able to work in high-pressure environment with hectic deadlines

- Exceptional rapport building with co-workers, clients, subordinates, and ownership
- Maintain files of working documents as back-up for estimate figures, including current (accurate) information on prices from suppliers through direct contact, sales brochures, price lists, etc.
- Work closely with the Project Managers for project start-up meetings, re-estimating, cost analysis and changes
- Review all final estimate packages with the electrical estimating Manager to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to a formal quotation

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
