**Position Overview**
We are seeking a Construction Labourer who will work closely with the construction team and be responsible for performing various tasks to aid daily operations at construction site.

**Responsibilities**

The Position shall be measured against successful execution of tasks and responsibilities which include but may not be limited to the following:

- Assist with general carpentry as required.
- Clean and prepare construction sites as needed.
- Maintain a safe and positive job site by adhering to safety standards and working cooperatively.
- Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the job site daily.
- Load and unload construction supplies from trucks both manually and with the use of equipment.
- Assist other construction team members and trades as required.
- Pick up and deliver required materials.
- Perform other activities as directed by Site Supervisor.
- Requires lifting, pulling and carrying of supplies, equipment and other objects.
- Requires working outside and in all types of weather conditions.

**Skills and Experience Requirements**

The incumbent shall be measured against required qualifications and experience requirements which include but may not be limited to the following:

- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual and self-motivated with a positive professional attitude.
- Must have the ability to perform physically challenging work.
- Must be able to work independently and within a team.
- Willingness to work outside and in all types of weather conditions.
- General understanding of basic hand and small power tool operations is an asset.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills and complete safety certifications required.
- Must have a valid Ontario driver’s license and reliable vehicle to get you to and from construction site.
- Must be a non-smoker due to health conditions of co-worker.
- Note: Benefits (Dental care, Extended health care, Life Insurance) come into effect at end of 3-month probation period.

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour
