Retail Salesperson

We are a leading furniture store in Sarnia, Ontario, specializing in mattresses, beds, dining tables, sofas, and sectionals. As we continue to grow, we are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Sales Associate to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers and provide them with professional and personalized service
- Assist customers in selecting the right furniture pieces based on their needs and preferences
- Showcase product features and benefits to customers effectively
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring furniture displays are visually appealing
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system
- Stay updated with product knowledge and industry trends to provide accurate information to customers
- Meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the store

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of one year of experience in retail sales, preferably in the furniture industry
- Must be eligible to work in Canada (work permit, permanent resident, or Canadian citizen)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, and a team player
