**DIRECTOR OF ECOMMERCE**
**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Director of Ecommerce will lead the strategic growth and management of the company's digital functions, overseeing the development and execution of media, marketplace, and ecommerce strategies aimed at fueling Manitobah's growth, profitability, and impact. You bring a unique blend of expertise and leadership to the table, fostering collaboration and innovation within the team.

**LOCATION**

**KEY RELATIONSHIPS**
Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer
Key Relationships: Marketing Team, Ecommerce Team, IT
Direct Reports: Ecommerce Coordinator
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develop and implement Manitobah’s digital growth strategy, leveraging world-class knowledge of the digital marketing landscape and a deep understanding of Manitobah’s customers and product offerings.
- Collaborate with our Director of Brand Marketing to establish a Go-to-Market process, ensuring alignment of digital efforts with brand and traditional methods for coordinated and collaborative team efforts.
- Formulate paid channel strategies and allocate budgets across channels to drive growth effectively.
- Identify, recruit, and lead digital media specialists who will execute the vision and replace existing agency partners, providing guidance and fostering a culture of innovation and performance.
- Actively manage the portfolio of marketing investments to achieve profitable acquisition at scale, utilizing data-driven insights to continuously reallocate spending and optimize ROI.
- Take charge of managing and driving on-site success metrics for our Canada + USA websites.
- Spearhead web strategy, focusing on research and discovery to provide actionable direction for website information architecture (site maps, wireframes, etc.), visual user design, and development, resulting in a measurable enhancement of the user experience.
- Ensure visually merchandised products and well-architected Product Detail Pages (PDPs) to provide a rich, compelling experience, measured through metrics such as increased page views, add-to-carts, and Units Per Transaction (UPTs).
- Oversee Amazon and other marketplace management to ensure a best-in-class experience and seamless integration with other systems.

**Ideal Experience**
**Professional Experience**:
- 10+ years’ of progressive experience in an ecommerce management role required
- Experience in managing multi-million dollar digital media budgets.
- Proven track record of driving profitable customer acquisition across digital marketing channels.
- Demonstrable experience in site optimization and development, with preference for Shopify expertise.
- Experience with Amazon marketplace is an asset
**Educational Position Requirements**:
- Post-secondary education in Business, Management, or Marketing is preferred
