Nexus Vision Centre is looking for someone who is very personable and passionate about helping others. As our patient care coordinator you are the first person to greet and welcome our patients and we are looking for someone who can make everyone feel right at home here.
- **Answer a high volume of calls and maintain a rapid response rate according to agreed-upon standards and training.**:

- **Take accurate information from calls received (i.e.: book appointments) where required and transfer information or calls with speed and efficiency.**:

- **Provide direction and information as required to in office patients and collect required health and insurance information prior to eye exam.**:

- **Perform start of day activities**:

- **Greet in office patients immediately in a courteous and friendly demeanour while building rapport with patients.**:

- **Order and maintain office supplies as needed and maintain a tidy reception area.**:

- **Update electronic records, file vision therapy patient files and perform other routine clerical tasks. Scan records and files into computer.**:

- **Answer and maintain website inquiries for scheduling appointments and checking on orders, etc. Review online bookings regularly**:

- **Help maintain patient records, third party billing and financial records and database as assigned.**:

- **Send and Receive Faxes from other offices.**:

- **Collect Payment from patients**:

- **Participate in personal and team development training and initiatives. Work with self driven initiative is expected.**:

- **Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, leadership team, suppliers and the general public.**:

- **Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adhere to relevant health and safety procedures.**:

- **Inform leadership team on dispensary equipment and stock requirements over and above normal purchases.**:

- **Become efficient at using Electronic Medical Record software. Training videos and hands on training will be provided.**:

- **Responsibilities can change without notice, may be updated frequently and are not limited to the list above.**

Pay: $16.00-$18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
