**Early Childhood Educational Assistant - full time and part time positions**

At Over the Rainbow you will have the opportunity to affect the lives of children between 3-6 years old with exceptional abilities and their families on a daily basis.

**Who**:
Creative and ambitious Early Childhood Educational Assistant (EA) interested in working in a pre-school or kindergarten setting with young children. Under the supervision of a teacher consultant, the EA will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver and support the Individual Program Plan (IPP) for the student.

Current criminal record check (including vulnerable sector check) required

Experience in working with a special needs population is an asset

Must have reliable transportation.

**What**:
Responsibilities include facilitating goals and objectives on the child’s Individual Program Plans and collaborating with other clinicians on the team.

Promoting the positive inclusion of the child

Creating opportunities for experiential and incidental learning

Developing resources such as social stories, visuals, games or scripts.

Flexibility and ability to collaborate and coordinate services is essential.
