Collections Specialist

Urban Life Solutions is looking for a **Collections Specialist** to join our team This position is responsible providing financial, clerical, and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate payment of accounts. This position is **Monday - Friday** with the hours of **8am - 4pm**.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Daily reconciliation of accounts
- Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities
- Investigate and resolve customer queries
- Organize an effective recovery system and initiate collection efforts
- Support the company in optimizing financial transactions and systems by performing reconciliation of payments and customer accounts
- Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
- Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
- Maintain historical records of all invoices, reports, receipts, and cheques by saving documents properly on the network
- Perform data entry associated with accounts payable
- Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies

**EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED**
- 3+ years of experience in A/R, Credit and Collections
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills at all levels
- Must be able to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, with all key stakeholders
- Exceptional analytical and reconciliation skills with high attention to detail required
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task several duties at once and prioritize them
- The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- English/French bilingualism not required but would be an asset

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
