_**Job Title**:_**Pediatric Occupational Therapist - Independent Private Contractor**
- **Job Type**:_ Full-time and/or Part-Time OT home visiting - Service provided in client's home, school or in the community.

**Location**: Mobile/remote - Burlington, Oakville, Milton, Halton Hills, Georgetown, ON
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Provide home-based, occupational therapy services to children with various physical, sensory, cognitive, and developmental disabilities.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine children's strengths and areas of need.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment results and family input.
- Provide occupational therapy services to children, utilizing evidence-based interventions and approaches.
- Collaborate with other professionals involved in the child's care, including parents, teachers, and healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Adhere to the standards of practice set forth by the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
- Work as an independent contractor and manage their own caseload, materials and schedule.
- Provide therapy services in a variety of settings, primarily providing home-based intervention, but may also include childcare centres, and/or private school environments.
- Monitor and document the child's progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Educate parents and caregivers on how to support their child's progress and development.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to remain current in the field of OT.
- **Qualifications**:_
- A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
- Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO) in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with paediatric populations
- Current Professional Liability Insurance coverage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A valid Ontario Driver's Licence
- Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- Familiarity with Trauma-Informed Care and Neuro-Diversity Affirming practice
