**Job Summary**

Mill Run Golf Club is one of the largest golf and banquet facilities in Durham Region. It is a semi-private golf club set in the rolling hills of Uxbridge Township. Its members and clientele are drawn from Durham and York Regions and Metropolitan Toronto. Mill Run golf course includes 27 Championship and 18 Executive holes as well as an extensive practice and instructive area.

We are seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to join our Golf Services team. Mill Run looks to provide the highest levels of customer service to its members and guests. As a part of our staff, you must work to achieve our goal of making sure every member and guest receives a high quality experience.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

Assist the Professional Staff in the daily supervision of the Golf Operation and be an integral part of our team. The Golf Operation includes the golf shop (operations, retail, food & beverage), events and tournaments, as well as daily play. Responsible for holding keys, opening and closing golf shop. 4-6 shifts a week with hour flexibility being a large asset.

Successful Applicants will be responsible for outside duties at the Highland, such as:

- Cart Maintenance - Washing, parking, gassing, and staging.
- Member Services - Assisting member and public golfers in getting ready for their round of golf (loading clubs on cart, ensuring cart is clean, providing a key and assistance to start their round while ensuring groups are teeing off on time.
- Assist in pace of play management and relaying information to members and guest.

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment
- Strong communication skills, outgoing personality, committed to future growth within the golf industry
- Experience with merchandising, event management
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Professional, personable and courteous with members, guests, and co-workers
- Must have valid Drivers License and be Smart Serve Certified
- Have experience on computers and answering phones
- Comfortable handling cash/debit/credit transactions
- Completion of High School (Grade 12) is required
- Able to work shifts - days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Punctual and reliable
- Must be able to work under pressure during busy periods
- Good communication skills, written and spoken English

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 16-40 per week

**Salary**: $15.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Work Location: One location
