Surveillance Cabinet Operations Coordinator

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Manufacturing and Assembly**:
- Lead the assembly and manufacturing of surveillance cabinets, ensuring high-quality construction and adherence to safety standards.
- Coordinate with suppliers for necessary parts and supplies, monitoring production timelines to ensure on-time completion.
**2. Shipping and Receiving**:
- Manage the shipping process for completed surveillance cabinets, ensuring safe and timely delivery to designated sites.
- Oversee receiving operations for parts and supplies, verifying accuracy and quality upon arrival.
**3. Inventory Management**:
- Maintain and monitor inventory levels for all necessary components, ensuring optimal stock levels are available for ongoing projects.
- Oversee inventory processes and reporting for Kelowna and Victoria warehouses, ensuring accurate records and timely reordering.
**4. Uptime Monitoring and Diagnostics**:
- Monitor operational uptime of surveillance cabinets to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Diagnose technical issues as they arise and collaborate with technicians to plan and implement effective solutions.
**5. Coordination with Field Technicians**:
- Act as a central point of contact for field technicians based in Kelowna and Victoria, facilitating repairs, maintenance, and installations.
- Ensure timely communication and coordination of parts, tools, and support needed for each field repair or installation.
**6. Remote Installation and Supervision**:
- Supervise and support remote installations, guiding technicians through processes and resolving any challenges encountered in real-time.
- Document installation processes to standardize procedures and improve future installations.
**7. Maintenance and Repair Coordination**:
- Proactively manage maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs with field technicians, addressing any urgent repairs promptly to minimize downtime.
- Track and report on maintenance and repair history to identify recurring issues and support preventive measures.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in operations, supply chain, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, or a related operational role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and tracking systems.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues with electronic or surveillance equipment.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and external partners.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously.
**Preferred Skills**:
- Previous experience in the security or surveillance industry is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with remote supervision and technical support for field technicians.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
