Acoustical & Total Cleaning Services Co. is looking for a **HEAVY DUTY**cleaners to join their team

**We are looking for new talented staff to work on a full time or part time basis. Hours fall between 6am and 7 pm, Monday through Sunday, with the possibility of occasional evening work.**

**The ability to work on a on-call basis is an asset.**

**The availability to work out of town jobs on occasion is an asset. All travel time is paid, and meal allowances provided.**

**We are requiring a _minimum experience level of 1 year as a heavy duty cleaner_in the janitorial industry. Applicants who do not meet this requirement will not be considered.**

Acoustical is a diversified cleaning company which has been in business for 35 years, and offers and variety of services to commercial and industrial clients, including:

- after construction cleaning
- stripping and refinishing floors
- carpet cleaning
- upholstery cleaning
- windows and blinds cleaning
- grounds maintenance
- snow removal
- water damage restoration
- exterior pressure washing
- contract janitorial
- bed bug preparation

Acoustical is looking for hard-working, dedicated, and organised individuals who will be responsible for providing efficient and high quality service to a variety of sites including after construction sites, educational facilities, recreation facilities, government buildings, and general offices.

**Heavy Duty Cleaning Duties Include**:

- vacuuming hard surfaces and carpeted flooring
- sweeping and mopping hard surfaced flooring
- cleaning and degreasing floors using an **autoscrubber**
- deep cleaning of floors with a **floor buffer or burnisher**
- using **pressure washers**to clean interior and exterior areas
- carpet cleaning with a **carpet extractor machine, bonnet machine, or truck mounted unit**
- wet pick up with wet vacuums
- interior and exterior window cleaning, high and low dusting, and wall washing involving **working at heights**and **use of boom or scissor lifts**
- base board washing
- degreasing of hard surfaces including kitchens and warehouse areas
- sanitizing of washrooms, high touch areas, and possibly contaminated areas
- cleaning washrooms, kitchens, exterior cabinetry
- spot cleaning surfaces
- wiping furniture/upholstery cleaning
- garbage and recycling removal
- paint, concrete, silicon, and other substance removal from surfaces
- dusting of lights, vents, air diffusers etc.
- biohazard cleaning

**Non-mandatory skills (assets)**:

- use of ride on lawn mowers
- use of lawn maintenance equipment
- use of snow blowers/snow removal equipment

**Tickets Preferred**:

- WHMIS (mandatory)
- First Aid (mandatory)
- Elevated work platform safety
- Fall Protection
- CSTS

**RCMP or EPS Criminal record checks are required.**

**WAGE NEGOTIABLE BASED ON EXPERIENCE**

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
