**THE ROLE**
Under the supervision of the Facilities Coordinator, the Sports Stores Technician plans and organizes all sports stores activities and equipment purchases according to established policies and regulations. She/he orders and tracks materials and supplies. She/he prepares reports for supervisor, as required. She/he maintains records of distribution accounts. She/he obtains quotes for goods/products from various suppliers and submit to supervisor for purchases.

**QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED** Education, Certifications and Licenses**

College diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Recreation Facility Management or related field and some years experience in a related field

OR

High school diploma AND several years experience in a related field

OR

An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered

AND

A valid driver’s license (Ontario)

**Experience**
- Forklift operators licence, an asset
- Experience in issuing sports equipment
- Experience in the preparation and maintenance of outdoor sports facilities
- Experience in equipment maintenance/scheduling
- Experience in loss prevention
- Experience in inventory control
- Experience in record keeping/invoicing
- Experience in event planning and project management
- Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

English Essential, Bilingual an asset
