Innovation Saskatchewan is a government agency that provides recommendations and advice to the Government of Saskatchewan regarding its strategic direction in the areas of research, development, science and technology. Innovation Saskatchewan recently aligned with Innovation Place research and technology parks in Saskatoon and Regina to create a single innovation agency — together we will continue to help grow and support Saskatchewan’s vibrant tech ecosystem.

**Responsibilities**

We are currently seeking a summer student to join our Information Technology (IT) team as the IT Support Assistant. Reporting to the Director, Information Technology, this position will be responsible for the following:

- Providing front line desktop support to all corporate users in Saskatoon and Regina
- Assisting with a variety of IT-related projects
- Creating and maintaining documentation, incident reporting, etc.
- Disposing of equipment, including desktops, laptops and servers

**What We Want from You**
- You are a current post-secondary student returning to school in the fall in one of the following programs:

- Computer Systems Technology
- IT Support Specialist
- IT Network Administrator
- Bachelor of Computer Science
- Availability to work from early May to late August
- Strong understanding of installation and troubleshooting MS Windows / MS Office as well as a basic understanding of Mac platform
- Good understanding of IP-based network configuration and troubleshooting
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work with technical and non-technical people
- Demonstrated a high level of initiative and accountability
