Kids Club Child Care Centre is looking for ECE teachers for locations in Abbotsford. - Ensure that program meets all of the provincial licensing regulations.
- Ensure that operational policies established by the company are implemented.
- Ensure that the curriculum meets policies established by the company.
- Observe and participate in daily routines and activities regularly.
- Review daily schedule and weekly program plans.
- Meet with other staff members in your program on a regular basis to plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and experiences.
- Daily balance of active/quiet, indoor/outdoor and individual/group activities.
- Develop and follow a daily schedule that incorporates child/teacher directed activities, care routines, and transition times - plan activities accordingly.
- Provide opportunities for physical, cognitive, emotional and social development.
- Use a variety of teaching techniques in order to incorporate all learning styles modeling, observing, questioning, demonstrating and reinforcing.
- Encourage and assist children in becoming independent (self-help skills).
- Ensure guidance of children’s behaviour that encourages a positive self-concept.
- Contribute to the ongoing operation of the Centre.
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Early Childhood Educator License (required)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
