This is an exciting opportunity to join one of Canada’s best-known building materials suppliers as we embark on a significant growth journey through new product launches and market penetration. As part of the Kingspan Group, Vicwest has an ambitious sustainability program, Planet Passionate, revolving around the impact of building materials on the environment.

**Position Summary**

The Territory Manager reports directly to the LG Sales Manager and is responsible for maintaining and developing existing accounts, promoting sales programs, and establishing new business opportunities in the assigned territory.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop relationships with key accounts.
- Identifies and develops target accounts by nurturing productive relationships with retailers, presenting business development proposals to seize sales opportunities and prospecting new business opportunities.
- Extended in person territory coverage - hunter mentality
- Provides product information and training to customers
- Ensures key customers and developing accounts are serviced appropriately
- Monitors and reports competitive market information and pricing
- Participate in industry related opportunities: local and national tradeshows, contractor events

**Qualifications**
- Post secondary education - Preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales - Preferred experience in building materials
- Able to present a value proposition and overcome price discussions/negotiations.

**Competencies**
- Ability to execute key deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and tactically.
- Excellent communications, training, and leadership skills
- Ability to collaborate and coordinate with cross functional teams.
- Knowledge of computer systems/programs - Preferred Salesforce
