**Job description**

We are currently seeking a Partnership Assistant to support Innivec’s continued vision of providing top-notch education and career services to our students.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Provide online theory instruction to students and be available for student consultation.
- Supervise and support practicum education for Addictions and Community Support Worker diploma students in a variety of practicum settings.
- through virtual and face to face delivery methods.
- Communicate with practice partners to ensure common understanding of learning outcomes for practicum students.
- Foster practice partner and College relationships.
- Review and update curriculum to ensure currency and relevance.
- Evaluate student progress and provide timely and constructive feedback.
- Participate in instructional team meetings.

**Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities**
- Active engagement of students in a variety of online and face-to-face environments using current teaching and learning strategies.
- Learner-centered philosophy of teaching, learning and evaluation.
- Create and maintain a positive and respectful learning environment.
- Confidence in use of the Moodle learning management system and a variety of educational technology strategies that support best practices in teaching and learning.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills.

**Education and Experience**
- Master’s degree in social work, Nursing, Mental Health Counselling or Community Mental Health & Addictions preferred, however a Bachelor’s degree (minimum) with relevant or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Minimum three - five years of experience in a directly related field, or equivalent combination of training and experience providing extensive support to clients with mental health and substance use challenges.
- Previous teaching experience in a post-secondary setting is an asset.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required
