**Job Description**:
What you can expect in a typical day:
As a Process Improvement Specialist, you will work with our Supply Management team to improve data integrity, processes, and communication across the team. You will be responsible for our compliance framework, process documentation, control audits and perform reporting as required. You will lead and execute various Supply Management initiatives and look at ways to drive process improvements and process optimization.

Your roles and responsibilities
- Support the development and management of departmental compliance framework.
- Support various reporting and analysis requests (regular and ad hoc)
- Seek opportunities to mitigate risk and identify savings opportunities to assist the team.
- Support the development and delivery of department training & communication material.
- Understand and leverage technology to improve overall team and company efficiency and value.
- Investigate current processes for improvement opportunities.
- Lead and/or support various process improvement initiatives from start to completion including (but not limited to) developing scope, testing and implementation plans.
- Manage various regulatory initiatives.
- Manage our Approved Supplier list including auditing compliance.

Travel
- Travel is not a requirement for this position.
Education and experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a procurement role.
- Post-secondary education in business, economics, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent knowledge of MS 365 Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint (create, populate, update), and SharePoint.
- SCMP (Supply Chain Management Professional) designation or enrolled in the program an asset.
- Familiarity with Oracle, IQNavigator, ISNetworld, MS Power BI and Power Automate an asset.
