At king Alfred Academy, we are offering a classical Christian Education in Waterloo.

**Anticipated Start Date**: As soon as possible

**Details of this position**:

- Permanent, Full time
- 35 hours a week Minimum
- $34.61/hour
- 12 vacation days/ vacation pay 4% on wages earned
- nine (9) paid days off for Public (Statutory) Holidays
- ten (10) Personal Leave Days per year;
- 50 % Tuition reduction for children enrolled at the school

**Job Duties**:

- Provide tutoring assistance;
- Advise students on course selection and on vocational and personal matters;
- Evaluate the progress of students and discuss results with students, parents and school officials;
- Prepare, administer and correct tests,
- Develop course content;
- Prepare and deliver presentations at conferences, workshops and symposia;
- Assign and correct homework;
- Teach students through lectures, discussions, audio-visual presentations and laboratory, shop and field studies;
- Participate in staff meetings, educational conferences and teacher training workshops;
- Supervise teaching assistants

**Job Requirements**
- Experience in Math and science and Experience teaching the Bible to young people
- Criminal Records Check
