The Claims Adjuster is responsible for adjudicating warranty claims and servicing a fluctuating caseload of new and ongoing claims within department service standards required to support ASC clients. Reporting to the Manager of Claims, the claims administrator will perform assigned activities the best way to meet company objectives in all areas of employee, client, and shareholder satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing the best-in-class service experience to all our customers - internal and external.
- Verify Mechanical breakdowns and determine coverage under plans.
- Relay communications between contract holders and Automotive Dealerships.
- Negotiate prices on parts required and labour required.
- Provide insight into possible department and product enhancements.
- Seek opportunities for process improvements.
- Take part in various projects as required by management.
- Manage case load for prompt follow ups with internal/external customers.
- Manage case load for prompt follow ups on Pending Claims.
- Prepare complex claims for review by the Claims Manager for approval.
- Provide insight into possible department and product enhancements.
- Stay current on new products and industry trends.
- Liaise with multiple departments for customer and dealer satisfaction.
- Take part in Product Development meetings to assist building new warranty products.

**Requirements**:

- 5 Years of experience as a Claims Adjuster
- Experience in the insurance industry, preferably in auto insurance an asset.
- Completion of Automotive Technician certification course or equivalent experience in the Automotive field an asset.
- Automotive mechanical knowledge an asset.
- Minimum 2 years in a customer service environment, or equivalent experience
- Excellent ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken formats
- Strong attention to detail
- Independent - ability to work within given parameters with mínimal oversight from management
- Ability to type at least 25-30 WPM
- Familiarity with web-based programs and Office suite of products
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to multitask
- Strong problem solving capabilities

**Salary**: From $70,000.00 per year
