**The Role**:
We are currently seeking an experienced **HSE&A Supervisor** to provide expert advice and support to the offshore team, covering all disciplines, including Health, Safety, Environment, Process Safety and Integrity, drawing on the support of the onshore HSE&A team as appropriate.

Based on our Buzzard production platform, on a fixed rotation, the primary purpose of this role is to promote compliance with all aspects of HSE&A, monitoring the daily performance of the asset via work site visits, providing challenge where necessary, and supporting with the implementation of legal requirements, Company HSE&A management systems, guidance and best practices.

The HSE&A Supervisor shall act as a direct liaison between the offshore asset and the onshore HSEA team, ensuring that the processes required for continual improvement in HSE&A are implemented consistently across all the assets.

Some core deliverables are as follows:

- Acting as a challenge to ensure offshore activities comply with HSEA-related legislative requirements and company standards, systems and procedures.
- Promoting a positive HSE&A culture whist supporting control of risks to health, safety, environment and process safety.
- Conducting offshore compliance monitoring activities as required by the field evaluation plan and in support of company procedures.
- Leading asset area inspections in line with the asset plan.
- Supporting the delivery of agreed HSEA related projects/initiatives/campaigns as required by the HSEA Plan.
- Discussing actual and potential HSE events with on and offshore teams and onshore HSE&A Team and system owners. Agree action follow up and enter into relevant event tracking system for follow up and management.
- Coordinating weekly emergency response exercises and fulfil emergency response roles as may be required, including the development and facilitation of the annual ER exercise schedule, ER debrief and action follow up.
- Ensuring compliance with the BEIS guidance for spill response, including planning, organising and recording spill drills.
- Training & coaching and deliver HSE&A presentations as required.
- Supporting regulator inspections as necessary.
- Preparing and presenting materials at fortnightly departmental HSE&A meetings.
- Promoting the behavioural safety programme and assist in the continuing improvement of the programme.
- Facilitating the incident investigation process and provide coaching as may be required.

**Who are we looking for?**:

- Experience of audit, monitoring & review of HSE&A management systems
- Thorough knowledge of UK HS&E legislation and supporting Industry Guidance and good practice
- Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills
