**Sommaire des fonctions**:
L’analyste est chargé de tisser et d’entretenir des liens avec les personnes-ressources de la région, de donner des conseils stratégiques visant à appuyer le programme de liaison régional et d’établir une collaboration avec les intervenants stratégiques à l’échelle régionale sur les questions de sécurité nationale.

**Principales responsabilités**
- Établir et coordonner la liaison et la collaboration avec les intervenants, en plus de conseiller l’équipe de gestion régionale sur les questions de rapprochement stratégique.
- Préparer des documents d’information et les présenter dans le cadre de réunions avec des collègues ou des homologues du gouvernement du Canada ou de collaborations avec des parties prenantes d’organisations non gouvernementales. Rédiger des notes d’information, de la correspondance ou des exposés qui serviront au sous-chef, Événements spéciaux et liaison, et à la haute direction de la région.
- Diriger la coordination des événements de liaison nécessaires afin d’établir des relations et de réaliser les objectifs prioritaires du Service.
- Effectuer les consultations nécessaires sur les sujets des séances d’information ou en préparation aux rencontres entre la haute direction et les parties prenantes afin de définir la position du Service et les objectifs poursuivis.
- Examiner, analyser et interpréter des documents, des rapports opérationnels, des informations et des messages provenant de sources ouvertes ou d’autres documents afin de cerner des possibilités de liaison.
- Consulter ses homologues de la région et de l’Administration centrale sur des questions qui revêtent un intérêt stratégique pour le Service.
- Se tenir constamment au fait de toutes les questions politiques et stratégiques actuelles ou naissantes, intérieures et extérieures, qui pourraient intéresser le Service.

**Études**:

- Baccalauréat et quatre années d’expérience*
- Diplôme d’études collégiales et six années d’expérience*
- Diplôme d’études secondaires et huit années d’expérience*

Nota : Tout niveau d’études plus élevé pourrait être considéré comme de l’expérience.

**Expérience**:

- Par « expérience », on entend ce qui suit:

- expérience de travail dans un poste dont les fonctions principales comprenaient la planification, le suivi, la coordination et l’organisation de projets ou d’activités complexes visant à satisfaire à des besoins organisationnels ou opérationnels;
- expérience de la recherche, de la compilation et de l’analyse d’informations en vue de fournir des conseils stratégiques aux gestionnaires sur divers enjeux;
- expérience de la présentation de séances d’information ou d’exposés en personne ou en ligne.
- une expérience de la rédaction d’une vaste gamme de documents, comme des rapports, des évaluations, des exposés ainsi que des documents et des notes d’information;
- une expérience de la collaboration, de la liaison et de l’établissement de relations avec du personnel de différents échelons;
- une expérience de la formulation de conseils et de recommandations à l’intention de la direction;
- une expérience de la coordination et du suivi de projets et de dossiers complexes**.

**Un projet « complexe » comporte au moins les trois caractéristiques suivantes : a) il est multidimensionnel, b) il est sensible et touche de nombreux partenaires ou intervenants et c) il établit un précédent ou a une incidence sur la direction, la région ou le bureau.

**Notes**:
Bien que le Service continue d’examiner diverses possibilités de travail flexibles, la majeure partie du travail de l’organisation doit être effectué au bureau et ne peut pas être accompli de la maison.
