**Client Services Representative**
**Term of Employment: 1-year term to begin as soon as possible**
**Salary Range: $40,552.30 to $53,003.76**
**Location: MITT Campuses and/or remotely, as required**
**Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (35 hours/week)**
Reporting to the CSR Supervisor, MITT’s Client Service Representatives (CSRs) are the front-line contacts for prospective and current MITT students, as well as the general public. As such, CSRs have a strong understanding of all MITT programs, services and departmental activities, along with knowledge of MITT’s policies and procedures. In addition, CSRs must have a clear understanding of privacy legislation guidelines and requirements to deal effectively and appropriately with student inquiries.
CSRs collaborate with staff across all areas of the institution, building positive, constructive, and respectful relationships across all areas of operations. The team supports the Registrar’s Office, Finance, Academic, Recruitment and Student Services in particular, triaging or redirecting inquiries effectively to the appropriate departments as needed. CSRs are responsible for finding quick resolutions to inquiries, and endeavor to deliver an outstanding customer experience with each interaction.- The term of employment is expected to be 1-year from the start or the day before the employee being replaced returns to the position.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
- Provide front-line reception and greet students, MITT guests, and the general public at all MITT General Offices, in person and by phone.
- Responding to customer questions and concerns and referral to the appropriate MITT Department.
- Providing basic information on MITT programs, admission, tuition, and student administrative tasks to prospective and current students, as well as to the general public.
- Responsible for a high-level of client service, as well as for maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and due diligence when dealing with student records and files.
- Participate in professional development opportunities as required.
- Respect procedures and policies as outlined by MITT Finance relating to the handling and security of all cash, credit card, and debit transactions, as well as end-of-day accounting and financial records
- Responsible for processing and maintaining a variety of daily transaction records for financial transactions, including but not limited to:
- Maintaining cash floats.
- Other payments (Peggo cards, lockers, work orders etc.).
- Generating and interpreting student financial statements.
- Follow Admissions, Student Records/Registration and other Registrar’s Office (RO) procedures and policies and collaborate with MITT’s Admissions Representatives and other RO staff to receive and process student admissions and enrolment documents, forms, and records.
- Assist applicants with booking consultation appointments to speak with a recruitment advisor.
- Open/close the General Offices.
- Support MITT Academic Staff with compiling and processing work practicum requests and in the distribution of completed practicum packages to practicum host sites.
**Required Qualifications and Experience**:
- A combination of related education and experience may be considered._
- Grade 12
- Post-secondary courses in business administration or a related field is an asset.
- Strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other software such as Adobe.
- Accurate keyboarding skills at a minimum 40 words per minute.
- Understanding of basic accounting.
**Preferred Qualifications and Experience**:
- Minimum one year experience working in a fast-paced customer service-focused environment.
- Minimum one year experience working in a post-secondary administrative environment.
- Accounting courses/qualification is an asset.
