We are seeking a personable, organized and efficient administration specialist with strong customer service skills to help maintain smooth operations in our rapidly growing small business. You must be reliable, adaptable, hardworking and forward-thinking, with great communication skills.

**Qualifications**:

- College Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 2 years (preferred)
- Customer Service experience: 3 years (preferred)

**Duties**:

- Basic front desk / receptionist duties: preparing and opening the showroom in the morning, answering phones, greeting customers, processing sales and invoices.
- Provide general information to customers and the public.
- Upkeep of records and tracking sheets so they remain updated and easily accessible according to established procedures.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies, order supplies as needed, and servicing office equipment.
- Basic bookkeeping maintenance including tracking invoices and expenses, paying bills, and preparing monthly reports to send to the bookkeeper.
- Enhance customer satisfaction and retention through inquiry tracking, relationship management, and follow-up calls.
- Get customer feedback, handle complaints appropriately and provide solutions as appropriate.
- Schedule appointments, book services and manage the shop calendar.
- Present a professional appearance at all times.
- Maintain a positive attitude and professional relationship with team members and management within the work environment.
- Variable duties and projects as they arise.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in administrative roles.
- Familiarity with office procedures and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to remain focused and organized in a multi-tasking environment.
- Automotive knowledge is a plus.
- Excellent phone etiquette.
- Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, GSuite, and Quickbooks preferred.
- Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25-40 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

All customers and employees are required to wear masks.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Pickering, ON L1W 2Z1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:
