Smoke BBQ and Bar is hiring a Kitchen Assistant in Edmonton, AB. This position is responsible for assisting the Executive Chef with the daily operations of the kitchen.
Qualifications:
**High school diploma or GED required**
- Prior experience in a related role preferred
- Able to work in a team environment, including flexibility, multitasking, and an active listening style
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for up to 8 hours.
- A minimum of 2 years experience preferred
**Responsibilities**:
**Prepare all food items for service according to menu recipe and presentation standards.**
- Follow proper food safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen environment, including taking out the trash, sweeping and mopping the kitchen floor, sanitizing all equipment, and maintaining proper inventory levels.

Pay: $15.00-$20.58 per hour
