**Barista Responsibilities**:
- Prepare beverages
- Maintain cleanliness: Keep the bar area, equipment, and seating areas clean and sanitized.
- Customer service: Greet customers warmly, take orders, provide menu recommendations, and handle transactions.
- Food preparation: Serve baked goods
- Event support: Assist with pop-ups or events hosted by Strom Coffee.
- Coffee knowledge: Stay informed about coffee beans, brewing methods, and drink recipes to educate customers.
- Monitor equipment: Ensure coffee machines and other equipment function properly and report issues.
**Receptionist Responsibilities**:
- Client greeting: Welcome salon clients, ensure they feel comfortable, and check them in for their appointments.
- Appointment management: Schedule and coordinate appointments, confirm bookings, and handle cancellations.
- Communication: Maintain clear communication between salon staff and customers, addressing questions or concerns.
- Salon maintenance: Ensure the salon area is clean, tidy, and ready for clients.
- Product sales: Assist customers with purchasing salon products, if applicable.
- Coordination: Help with the smooth operation of the salon and cafe areas during busy periods.
**Miscellaneous Responsibilities**
- Completing the daily cleaning task assigned to that day
- Ensure that the back room and bathroom are tidy and clean
- Rotate and fold laundry as needed
**Qualifications**
- Proven customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction
- Previous barista experience
- Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations
- Familiarity with POS systems
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
