**Description de poste de direction générale Microtel, Wyndham, lac Mégantic.**

En collaboration avec le Vice Président des opérations, le Directeur (trice) Général (e) aura à gérer les opérations de l'hôtel et ensuite à organiser, planifier, diriger et contrôler l’ensemble des opérations de l’hôtel afin d’offrir des services et produits de qualité à la clientèle selon les standards divers établis par la marque et la société de gestion et d’assurer le succès et la rentabilité de l’entreprise tout en offrant à ses employés un environnement de travail exceptionnel.

Le mandat inclut entre autre:

- Participer aux opérations journalieres nécessaires avec le Vice-président des opérations.
- Mettre en oeuvre les initiatives de marketing et de ventes qui seront nécessaires pour assurer le succés de l’opération.
- Coordonner les livraisons des produits et équipements en période d'opération continue.
- Gérer le recrutement, l’embauche, la formation, la motivation, l’encadrement et la gestion du personnel.
- Superviser et participer quotidiennement aux activités opérationnelles et assurer la coordination entre les différents départements de l'hôtel.
- Assurer une qualité de service constante, le maintien des relations avec la clientèle et leur satisfaction et la gestion des plaintes et des sites virtuels liés à ce sujet.
- Assurer le respect et la conformité aux contrôles d'exploitation, politiques, standards et normes de service du groupe Activar Hôtels Inc et de la marque Microtel Wyndham.
- Maximiser le rendement, productivité et la rentabilité de l’hôtel et assumer la gestion des ressources financières, matérielles et humaines selon le plan d’affaires établi.
- Effectuer régulièrement la vérification complète des installations pour s’assurer que leur état et leur fonctionnement soient conformes au niveau technique et sécuritaire.
- Veiller à ce que toutes les opérations bancaires et financières soient effectuées selon les règles.
- Gérer l’optimisation des revenus de façon journalière.
- Préparer les rapports journaliers, hebdomadaires et mensuels nécessaires pour le bureau chef.
- Etre capable de faire partie de la communaute et de participer activement aux activites economiques et culturelles locales.

**Qualifications**

Expérience requise.
- Au moins 5 ans d'expérience professionnelle dans l’industrie hôtelière, avec une progression potentielle au sein de l’organisation.
- Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience dans un poste similaire de direction de département d'hôtel ou d'hôtel.
- Expérience antérieure avec la gestion de budgets et de prévisions financières.
- Experience avec des marques Wyndham préférable.

- Faire preuve d’autonomie.
- Faire preuve d’esprit d'équipe et de leadership.
- Etre prêt a activement participer à la vie de l’entreprise. (réception, etc)
- Compétences exceptionnelles en matière d’organisation et de communication.
- Aptitudes pour la gestion des ressources humaines, habilité à encadrer, motiver et mobiliser le personnel.
- Une aptitude naturelle à servir et être hospitalier.
- Compréhension des activités administratives et budgétaires de même que la capacité à analyser les données financières opérationnelles.
- Bonnes compétences informatiques logicielles. ( excel, synxis, word..)
- Expérience en entretien technique et sécuritaire de bâtiment.
- Aisance à s’exprimer en français et en anglais à l’oral comme à l’écrit.
- Une attitude plaisante, positive avec un bon sens de l’humour.

Exigences.
- Grande disponibilité avec une flexibilité horaire totale.
- Detenir un permis de conduire valide.
