**On-Site Supervisor - Trail**

Reporting to the Operations Manager - Mini-Shops, the On-site Supervisor will be responsible for the site’s repair requirements and for ensuring that Procor employees work safely and in a Responsible Care environment. This position is responsible for achieving or exceeding key performance indicators through the optimum performance of the operation and on-site team.

Job Duties:

- Manage and direct the overall operation of the facility and the team on-site
- Provide leadership to the on-site staff (~3-5 employees) while maintaining a positive and respectful work environment
- Responsible for meeting the facility’s customer expectations, production requirements & revenue targets while controlling facility expenditures
- Communicate with the on-site customers to ensure a continual flow of work for the facility, while maintaining a target back-log of work
- Enforce all safety rules and procedures set by both the company and the customers, including regular task-observations of employees
- Manage the facility’s quality assurance program according to company and industry standards
- Continually develop on-site team skills for succession planning to ensure proper staffing levels are maintained
- Ensure accurate and timely billing of customer work
- Develop and implement initiatives for operational improvement and growth
- Submit required metrics and documentation in a timely manner
- Adequately respond to and support both internal and regulatory quality audits
- Other related responsibilities as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a similar leadership role
- 10+ years’ experience in a production or repair facility, preferably rail-related
- Track record of strong leadership and change management skills
- Strong organization, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal and team building skills
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams), and inventory management systems
- Experience in process management, quality assurance programs, and continual improvement programs (Lean, Six-Sigma) are assets
- Knowledge of AAR rules, M-1002 and M-1003 standards is an asset
- Highly adaptable and responsive to changes in the work environment
- In-depth knowledge of confined space entry procedures and working at heights is preferred
- Adhere to Procor’s health and safety standards (including the Responsible Care policy) and wear the required personal protective equipment for the job in a safe manner
- Valid driver’s license
- Eligible to work in Canada

**Salary**: $90,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
