Insurance Broker

We are looking for an experience Insurance Broker who has worked in personal and commercial lines to fill a 14 month maternity leave contract.

- Service all aspects of an assigned book of business - mix of personal lines, commercial including farm
- Promptly respond to client, carrier, and colleague inquiries.
- Conduct detailed reviews of risk and underwriting information to ensure accuracy and optimal insurance solutions for your clients.
- Assist in remarketing policies as necessary.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers.
- Take new claim reports and submit them to the insurance carrier.
- Maintain detailed and accurate information in the broker management system.
- Diligent follow up on clients’ accounts to ensure outstanding issues and activities are resolved.
- Recognize and realize sales opportunities where it makes sense.

**Qualifications**
- Proven success in personal lines and experience with commercial lines including farm.
- Outstanding communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience working in a brokerage in commercial lines, personal lines either in a TSR or CSR role.
- Prior working experience with PowerBroker is an asset.
- Must have active RIBO license.
