**Position Summary**

As a member of the Parking team, the parking cashier is one of the first faces a guest, volunteer or employee sees when visiting Stampede Park. This position will ensure that as a first point of contact, they will consistently provide an exceptional experience to everyone they see, greet and interact with. The parking cashier will also ensure that cash and credit card transactions are handled appropriately and accurately at all times.

**Responsibilities**

Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

- Ensure all guests, volunteers and employees have an exceptional experience while visiting Stampede Park.
- Process cash and credit card payments as guests arrive at the parking gate.
- Conduct accurate cash-handling procedures according to Stampede policies.
- Ensure parking regulations are followed.
- Operate a radio in a professional manner.
- Assist guest with general requests, inquiries and concerns promptly and with courtesy.
- Communicate Stampede policies and procedures to guests in a professional, friendly and polite manner.
- Assist with parking attendant duties as required.
- Have a thorough understanding of events and facilities on Park in order to provide information and directions to guests.
- Ensure Stampede security and safety procedures are adhered to and communicate any safety or security concerns promptly.
- Own your zone Keep your area clean, tidy and organized. Ensure Stampede Park is a fantastic place to be.

**Qualifications**
- Must have exemplary guest service skills.
- Must have cash handling experience.
- Able to work outside in all environments.
- Must be a team player with an ability to also work independently with little or no supervision.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills are required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts is required.
