Reporting to the Production Manager, Flexxaire is currently recruiting a Journeyman CNC Machinist for our Machine Shop to join the capable and growing production team.

**Minimum requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of Red Seal Journeyman trade designation and machine shop experience.
- Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.

**The following experience is considered an asset**:

- Zeiss Calypso programming and operation.
- CAM programming (Esprit).
- Robot programming (robotic cells).
- Knowledge of Lean and 5S practices.
- Advanced knowledge of industry safety practices.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Read, interpret, and follow basic diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions or procedures.
- Set-up, prove out part programs and run production on various types of multi axis CNC lathes and mills.
- Confident setting up and running a machine within a robotic cell.
- Train and mentor other employees within the machine shop team.
- Troubleshoot machine or product issues, ex. operation, quality, etc.
- Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
- Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Strive to meet quotas without compromising quality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
