Planning and Design
- Consultation and Assessment
- Meet with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Assess existing plumbing systems and identify areas for improvement or replacement.
- Blueprint Analysis
- Review architectural blueprints and plumbing schematics.
- Plan the layout of pipes, fixtures, and drainage systems.
- Compliance and Permits
- Ensure all plumbing work complies with local building codes and regulations.
- Obtain necessary permits and schedule inspections.

Installation
- Piping Systems
- Install new piping systems for water supply and drainage.
- Replace old or damaged pipes with new, more durable materials.
- Fixtures and Appliances
- Install and upgrade plumbing fixtures, such as sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers.
- Connect appliances to the plumbing system, including dishwashers, washing machines, and water heaters.
- Water Supply and Heating
- Install and maintain water supply systems, including pumps and tanks.
- Set up water heating systems, including tankless water heaters and boilers.

Maintenance and Upgrades
- System Upgrades
- Upgrade plumbing systems to improve efficiency and accommodate new appliances.
- Implement water-saving fixtures and technologies.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs
- Diagnose plumbing issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Fix leaks, blockages, and other plumbing malfunctions.

Safety and Quality Control
- Safety Inspections
- Conduct safety inspections before and after renovations.
- Ensure all plumbing installations meet safety standards and regulations.
- Quality Assurance
- Test plumbing systems to ensure proper function and leak-free performance.
- Address any issues identified during quality checks.

Collaboration and Communication
- Coordination with Other Trades
- Work closely with other contractors, such as electricians and carpenters, to ensure coordinated installations.
- Client Communication
- Provide regular updates to clients on the progress of the plumbing work.
- Offer recommendations for improvements and upgrades.

Documentation
- Record Keeping
- Maintain detailed records of all plumbing work performed.
- Document any changes to original plans and any issues encountered.

Emergency Services
- Emergency Repairs
- Provide emergency plumbing repair services as needed during renovations.
- Ensure the safety and functionality of the plumbing systems during unforeseen circumstances.

Pay: From $38.00 per hour
