**Wages**:
Casual: $23.54/Hour

Part Time: $24.65/Hour

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Supporting individuals with Autism / Dual Diagnosis / Mental Health disorders
- Facilitate and support person-centered planning and daily activity schedules
- Communicate effectively with families to build interpersonal relationships with parents/ guardians/ family members of those we support
- Work comfortably in a video-monitored home
- Support individuals in their daily physical activities - requiring highly active individuals to be comfortable in all activities (such as swimming; hiking; gymnastics)
- Driving individuals to appointments and daily activities using any of the agency vehicles
- Providing support to individuals with challenging aggressive behaviours; ability to perform all techniques taught in Safe Management and NVCI
- Implementing communication and behavioural support plans
- Demonstrating knowledge and understanding of Core Competencies on the job
- Involving our supported individuals to become more involved in their communities
- All other duties as assigned;
**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Community College Diploma in Social Services or University Degree in Social Sciences. Related experience preferred. (Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License. Would have to provide proof of valid driver’s license upon being hired.
- Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, as well as statutory holidays
- Experience in ABA, NVCI/ CPI, Safe Management, Pharmacology, First Aid/ CPR, Safe Talk is considered an asset
- Demonstrated flexibility to work in different areas across the Association
