'''Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Team Sports/ Pro-Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of the department in our Canadian Tire Store. The Team Sports/Pro-Shop Manager will be responsible for managing staff, training staff and ensuring excellent customer service. If you have a passion for retail and enjoy leading a team, we want to hear from you

**Duties**:

- Manage ALL aspects of the department, including higher end inventory control, visual merchandising, and customer service
- Train, and supervise a team of retail associates
- Create work schedules and ensure proper staffing levels to meet customer demand
- Maintain a clean and organized Department environment
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner
- Oversee cash handling procedures at the Pro-Shop desk.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff members and provide coaching and feedback as needed

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in Department management or a similar role is required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships with customers.

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Microsoft Office: 1 year (preferred)
- Retail management: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- French (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Kingston, ON K7P 2S8 (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Kingston, ON K7P 2S8: Relocate before starting work (required)

Work Location: In person
