**Carmacks Enterprises Ltd.** is a civil contractor, specializing in road and bridge construction and maintenance, in business for over 40 years. We are currently seeking a seasonal **Flagger** for our Highways Division to work on a project in the _**Allan area**_. This position will report to the Highways Division Foreman.

This project consists of grading, side sloping and installation of culverts and removing concrete curbs and sidewalks in Allan.

**What is the role?**
- The worker controls movement of vehicular traffic through construction projects
- Directs movement of traffic through site, using sign, hand and flag signals
- Warns construction/utility workers when approaching vehicle fails to heed signals to prevent accident and injury to workers
- Informs drivers of detour routes through work sites
- Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed

**What we value?**
- Minimum 1 years of flagging experience would be an asset
- Experience working with highways construction would be an asset
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Minimum class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
- You must be physically fit, able to work long hours outdoors
