Experienced Blinds

**Overview**

This role involves cutting fabric, fabricating and assembling components in our warehouse environment, ensuring that products meet quality standards and specifications. The Assembler will work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production goals while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

**Duties**
- Operate the cutting machines to cut the blinds fabric with specification.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to assemble components accurately and efficiently.
- Operate hand tools and power tools to fabricate parts as required and install them according to specifications.
- Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Install various types of window treatments, including blinds, shades, and drapes, ensuring a precise fit and finish.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine installation requirements.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service throughout the installation process.
- Adhere to safety protocols while on job sites.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a similar assembly or manufacturing role in blind & curtain industry is a must.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to work with hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for travel between job sites.
- Mandarin would be an asset.

Pay: $17.20-$34.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Blind & Shade Manufacturing and Assembling: 3 years (required)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Full G Driving Licence (preferred)
