Carpenter/Framer - Glulam Post and Beam Installation/ Seismic detail installation

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Framer to join our team and contribute to the installation of glulam post and beams and DLT (Dowel Laminated Timber) panels, as well as numerous tasks related to the seismic details in a 5 story wood frame structure.

As a Carpenter/Framer specializing in glulam post and beam installation, you will play a crucial role in the construction process, ensuring the precise and efficient installation of structural elements. You will work closely with the project team to deliver exceptional results, adhering to safety standards and project timelines.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Glulam Post and Beam Installation:

- Safely handle and position heavy glulam components using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Ensure proper alignment and structural integrity of installed beams.

2. DLT Panel Installation:

- Layout and install DLT panels in accordance with architectural plans and engineering specifications.
- Secure panels using appropriate fastening methods, ensuring structural stability and aesthetic appeal.

3. Quality Control:

- Conduct thorough inspections of installed components to ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements.

4. Safety Compliance:

- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and implement safe work practices at all times.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Carpenter/Framer in the construction industry, with a focus on glulam post and beam installation.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials related to glulam and DLT installations.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safety, with a clear understanding of occupational hazards and risk mitigation strategies.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions and environments.
- Certification or training in carpentry or framing is preferred.

**Salary**: $26.25-$38.25 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:
