Lumber Yard Worker

**About us**

Rona Petawawa is a small, locally owned hardware store in Petawawa, Ontario. We are a professional, ever-changing and fast-paced environment. We serve the general public, Garrison Petawawa and contractors from all over the valley.

This position averages 20-40 hours per week. **Must be able to work any day of the week, including weekends.**

**Store Hours**:
7AM - 7PM Monday to Friday

8AM - 5PM Saturday and Sunday

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a dedicated Yard Worker to join our team. The Yard Worker will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the yard, assisting with loading and unloading materials, and ensuring a safe working environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Keep the yard clean and organized
- Assist with loading and unloading materials
- Operate basic yard equipment such as forklifts or hand trucks
- Perform routine maintenance on yard equipment
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Ability to operate yard equipment such as forklifts is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
