Reporting to the FP&A Manager, the Financial Analyst II undertakes the following

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Perform financial forecasting, reporting and operational metrics tracking
- Analyse financial data and produce reporting to drive decision-making by managers, department heads and senior leadership monthly, quarterly and annually
- Through analytics, identify and provide recommendations for process improvements, including the creation of standard, and ad-hoc reporting, tools and dashboards
- Produce variance analysis, diagnostic analytics and reporting for products, projects, all types of costs and expense types, as well as reporting at a departmental and company level for budgets, etc.
- Support and advises on annual and quarterly financial planning for assigned department(s)
- Continually improve support to the business through assessing needs and providing forward looking insight
- Assist Finance team to interpret financial and non-financial information to improve fact-based decision-making

**You bring the following QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Required**:

- 2-4 years of related Finance/FP&A Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field
- A proven, collaborative, proactive, and inclusive approach to business support
- Self-Starter, Self-motivated professional with the ability to focus, prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, high-energy environment to deliver a high-quality output
- Excitement and commitment to learn, understand and relate to Lush's core brand values.
- Advanced experience and proficiency with MS Excel, including pivot tables and complex logic-based formulas
- Strong analytical, modelling, and presentation skills, in depth knowledge of financial statements and the drivers that impact them
- Can distil and summarize large and complex data sets in a simple and concise way, and present it clearly without losing sight of the big picture
- Exceptional communication skills both written and oral are essential to succeed in this role
- Strong team player that can drive discussion, but is always open to hearing a different view
- Flexibility, dedication and ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure to meet deadlines

**Preferred**:

- MBA or Professional designation (CPA)
- Experience and proficiency with business intelligence and dashboarding tools such as Microsoft PowerBI
- Knowledge of D365 and financial planning systems
