Billing Clerk

**The Role**:
As a result of our robust growth, we are adding a **Billing Clerk** to join our team of professionals at **Connors Transfer **in** Stellarton, NS.** **This role will report to the Accounting Manager. We are looking for a driven professional who takes initiative and has the ability to contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.

**Core responsibilities will include**:

- Processing customer invoices,
- Sort and match invoices,
- Resolve invoice discrepancies,
- Maintain customer files,
- Communicate with customers
- Respond to inquiries.

**To be successful in this role**:

- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience,
- Experience with accounting systems,
- Post-secondary education in accounting or administration is an asset however not required,
- An energetic, self-starter who works well in a deadline driven environment,
- High attention to detail,
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office,
- Strong attention to detail,
- Experience in trucking industry
- Excellent communication skills, while maintaining confidentiality,
- Sound judgment,
- Works well in a busy environment,
- Can manage conflicting priorities with ease.
- Positive attitude,
